FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The TinCaps got some significant production from eight-hitter Justin Farmer on Thursday night, in a 8-1 win over Lansing.
Farmer drove in the first Fort Wayne run of the night with a RBI double in the bottom of the second.
He followed that up with a two-run homer as part of a five-run rally in the sixth inning.
San Diego pitching prospect Adam Mazur started for Fort Wayne, giving up one run over 4.2 innings, allowing four hits and one walk, with five strikeouts.
Bobby Milacki (W, 3-0) picked up the win in relief.
